The eye cannot see what the mind does not know.

Learning begins when something unclear becomes visible. As an Instructional Designer, I create experiences that help learners recognize patterns, understand complex ideas, and connect new information to what they already know.

Through clear structure, thoughtful visuals, and purposeful interaction, I design learning that helps people see differently, think more deeply, and apply knowledge with confidence.

My Approach

I believe effective learning experiences are intentional, learner-centered, and grounded in purpose. I begin by understanding the needs of the audience and the goals of the organization, then translate those insights into clear, engaging, and accessible solutions. Through thoughtful design, purposeful interaction, and continuous refinement, I create learning experiences that not only inform, but empower learners to apply their knowledge with confidence.

About Me

I am an Instructional Designer who enjoys transforming complex information into clear, engaging, and meaningful learning experiences. With a background in education, technology, and training, I bring a unique blend of analytical thinking, creativity, and learner advocacy to every project.

I hold a Master’s degree in Instructional Design and Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Health Science with a concentration in Information Technology. My 30+ year career in healthcare, healthcare education, and leadership provided extensive experience in training, mentoring, curriculum development, and performance improvement—work that ultimately inspired my transition into instructional design.

Today, I specialize in designing interactive learning solutions that support performance, encourage engagement, and promote knowledge transfer. My work is guided by a commitment to accessibility, thoughtful design, and continuous improvement.

I am naturally curious and enjoy learning, exploring innovative approaches to instruction, and solving design challenges. Whether working independently or collaborating with stakeholders and subject matter experts, I strive to create learning experiences that help individuals grow and organizations succeed.

Doppler Angle vs. Angle Correction

Project Overview: This interactive Storyline module clarifies the often-confused concepts of Doppler angle and Doppler angle correction in diagnostic ultrasound. Through visual demonstrations, waveform comparisons, and application-based scenarios, learners explore how each influences Doppler evaluation and why distinguishing between the two is essential for accurate image interpretation and velocity measurement.
